Welcome to The Cultured Companion. By accessing or using this website (theculturedcompanion.com) or by booking any companionship service, you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must not use this website or book any service.

The Cultured Companion operates from The Netherlands and provides strictly platonically-oriented companionship experiences, cultural outings, social hosting, and travel companionship. No romantic, intimate, or sexual services are offered or implied. These Terms apply to all visitors, readers, clients, and members.

1. Nature of the Service

1.1 The Cultured Companion provides non-romantic, non-sexual companionship services for cultural outings, travel experiences, dining, and shared activities.

1.2 All services are time-based companionship only. There is no physical intimacy, no dating, no escorting, and no implication of romantic involvement.

1.3 Any attempt to request sexual or intimate services will result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.

2. Eligibility & Client Conduct

2.1 You must be at least 21 years old to book any service.

2.2 You agree to behave respectfully, appropriately, and safely at all times during the experience.

2.3 Clients must not be under the influence of excessive alcohol or any illegal substances during the booking.

2.4 Any behaviour that creates discomfort, risk, or unsafe conditions may result in the immediate end of the session, without refund.

3. Booking Process

3.1 All bookings must be submitted through the official booking form or by direct email confirmation.

3.2 Submitting a booking request does not guarantee acceptance. The Cultured Companion reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

3.3 First-time bookings require full pre-payment once the booking is approved.

3.4 Bookings are confirmed only after:

  • Verification of identity

  • Review of requested activity

  • Payment received in full

3.5 The Client is responsible for providing accurate, truthful information.

4. Payments, Fees & Membership

4.1 All payments must be made upfront via the approved payment methods.

4.2 Travel time, travel expenses, tickets, dining, entry fees, and activity costs for both parties are the responsibility of the Client.

4.3 Rates may vary depending on:

  • Location

  • Duration

  • Specific activities requested

  • International travel requirements

4.4 Memberships are available only after a successful first booking. Memberships are paid annually and renew automatically unless cancelled in advance.

4.5 Membership fees are non-refundable.

4.6 Membership benefits grant priority booking and reduced rates but do not guarantee availability at any specific date or time.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

5.1 Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

5.2 Refund policy:

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance: eligible for a partial refund (minus administrative fees).

  • Cancellations within 72 hours: non-refundable.

  • No-shows: non-refundable.

5.3 Rescheduling is allowed once per booking if requested more than 48 hours in advance.

5.4 If The Cultured Companion must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, the Client will receive a full refund or may reschedule without penalty.

6. Travel & International Bookings

6.1 International bookings require extended notice and may require a minimum booking duration.

6.2 The Client is responsible for:

  • All travel expenses

  • Flights, hotels, and transport

  • Visas or international entry requirements

  • Safety conditions and logistical arrangements for the destination

6.3 The Cultured Companion reserves the right to decline travel to any location deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

7. Boundaries & Safety

7.1 Services are exclusively platonic. Any attempt to cross boundaries will result in immediate termination of the session.

7.2 Physical contact is limited to socially appropriate gestures (e.g., a polite greeting handshake, if mutually comfortable).

7.3 The Companion reserves the right to leave immediately if the environment becomes unsafe or inappropriate.

7.4 Clients who violate boundaries may be banned from future bookings.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

8.1 The Cultured Companion respects your privacy and will not disclose personal information unless legally required.

8.2 Clients agree not to record, photograph, or distribute images or videos of the Companion without explicit written consent.

8.3 All personal data is processed according to the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 All website content, branding, photographs, text, and materials are the intellectual property of The Cultured Companion and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.

10. Disclaimer of Liability

10.1 The Cultured Companion is not responsible for:

  • Injuries or accidents occurring at third-party venues

  • Travel disruptions

  • Loss of personal belongings

  • Emotional expectations or unmet personal outcomes

10.2 The Client participates in all activities voluntarily and at their own risk.

11. Right to Refuse Service

The Cultured Companion reserves the right to decline or discontinue service to any person for any reason that compromises safety, professionalism, or personal boundaries.

12. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the website or booking services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved under Dutch jurisdiction.
